Simple Way to Cut Water Waste

Summer is winding down!  Temperatures are starting to cool!  And your lawn’s water needs are decreasing!  You can typically space your waterings an extra day apart beginning around Labor Day.  For example, if you’ve been watering every three days during the summer, you would switch the controller to water every four days.  And, as temperatures continue to cool even more in the next few weeks, you can space your waterings even further apart.  This is a simple way to cut water waste without much effort.  You can also install a smart irrigation controller that automatically reduces water use as temperatures decrease, and there’s a rebate for that!  Check it out at UtahWaterSavers.com!
