Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Full-time
Salary: $17.00+ per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; four days off each week; no weekends or major holidays

Wasatch Animal Clinic in Heber City is a three-doctor mixed-animal practice with a strong focus on small-animal medicine. We’re looking for an organized, upbeat, detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist who enjoys helping people, stays composed when the day gets busy, and wants to be part of a team that works together.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do
- Greet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer phones, respond to messages, and route calls appropriately
- Schedule appointments and help manage a busy veterinary calendar
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information
- Collect payments and process invoices
- Communicate basic pricing, services, and hospital information clearly
- Coordinate closely with doctors and technicians to help the day flow smoothly
- Maintain accurate records, follow-up lists, reminders, and client communications
- Help create an organized, welcoming, and positive front-desk experience
- Jump in to support teammates and hospital operations wherever needed
What You’ll Bring

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, upbeat attitude and team-first mindset
- Warm, confident, and compassionate communication with clients and coworkers
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability, follow-through, and a willingness to jump in where needed
- Comfort learning veterinary terminology and hospital workflows
- Veterinary reception experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person with the right attitude
- Experience with AVImark and/or PetDesk is a strong plus
- A genuine desire to help people and their pets
