Description

I have always loved technology! I find it fun to learn about new developments, how they work and how they can improve daily living.

In high school I took courses such as computer repair and electronics courses. I used this information to build my own computer and to have LAN parties with friends.

I continued my education at BYU pursuing Electrical Engineering(EE). Through those courses I learned that my favorites were the Computer Science courses. The concept that intrigued me the most was recursion.

When I was about a year into EE I noticed my son had some speech difficulties; this drove me to switch majors so that I could be an active part in helping him with his weakness. I received a B.S. in Communication Disorders and began teaching with technology. This led to opportunities to teach parents, kids and other teachers about the technology around them.

I’ve returned to my roots! I am currently in a masters program for Computer Science.
