  • Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary<\/li>\n

    Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

    • Administrator or Transportation Coordinator<\/li>\n
    • To provide reliable and safe Resident transportation to and from appointments<\/li>\n
    • Transport residents in a safe and timely manner to\/from the appointments<\/li>\n
    • Provide residents with friendly, compassionate, reliable transportation services<\/li>\n
    • Drive a large van in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner<\/li>\n
    • Gather and assist residents into wheelchairs or stretchers, in and out of the van, and other areas needed<\/li>\n
    • Daily cleaning and regular maintenance of vehicles<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate schedules and appointments with the in-office Transportation team<\/li>\n
    • Daily safety checks of the vehicle \u2013 ie: lights, brakes, tires, wheelchair lift, seatbelts, etc<\/li>\n
    • Secure all necessary paperwork for appointments and deliver it to appropriate people<\/li>\n
    • Additional Assigned Tasks<\/li>\n
    • Assist Nursing Staff as needed for transportation or transportation related activities<\/li>\n
    • Treats all residents with dignity and respect<\/li>\n
    • Promotes and protects all residents\u2019 rights<\/li>\n
    • Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures and complete all assigned training and education upon hire and routinely throughout employment<\/li>\n
    • Comply with standards of business conduct and state\/federal regulations and guidelines<\/li>\n
    • Always follow appropriate safety and hygiene measures to protect residents and themselves<\/li>\n
    • Maintains confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications<\/li>\n
    • Reports noncompliance with policies, procedures, regulations, or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel<\/li>\n
    • Reports any retaliation or discrimination to HR or compliance officer<\/li>\n
    • Reports any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor\/Administrator\/Abuse Coordinator<\/li>\n
    • Protects residents from abuse and cooperates with all investigations<\/li>\n
    • Reports any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and\/or hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy<\/li>\n
    • Participates in all life safety and emergency drills and training<\/li>\n
    • Reports work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor<\/li>\n
    • Follows established infection control policies and procedures<\/li>\n
    • As a condition of employment, completes all assigned training and skills competency<\/li>\n
