A Banquet Server is responsible for the direction and execution of special events and banquets, working closely with our Banquet Captain at The Homestead Resort & Golf Club. They direct, implement and maintain a service standard and team philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff. The Banquet Servers are also responsible for all setup and breakdown of the event.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete projects assigned by the Food and Beverage department such as cleaning, taking inventory, and other miscellaneous projects.
Set up banquet rooms in line with event’s specific needs.
Oversee all aspects of assigned banquet function activities, ensuring that areas are properly set and ready for execution at the appointed time.
Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
Display great customer relation skills and take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.
Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and anticipate future needs.
Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers Permit
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
