Responsibilities

  • We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and dog-loving Doggy Play Yard Assistant to supervise and engage with furry friends during group play sessions at our dog boarding and daycare facility
  • Supervise group play sessions in outdoor play yards, ensuring the safety and well-being of all friends
  • *Monitor dog behavior and intervene as needed to prevent or stop rough play, aggression, or stress
  • *Engage dogs in appropriate physical activity, games, and enrichment exercises
  • *Maintain constant awareness of all friends under you supervision
  • *Clean up pet waste promptly and maintain a clean, safe play environment
  • *Communicate observations or concerns about dog behavior, health, or injuries to management
  • *Assist with feeding, watering, and transitioning dogs to and from the play yard
  • *Follow all facility protocols for safety, sanitation, and animal handling
  • *Provide excellent care and positive interaction to all friends, treating each with kindness and patience
  • Exposure to loud barking, pet waste, cleaning chemicals, and a physically active setting
  • *Work includes bending, lifting, walking, and standing for long periods
  • *Shifts may include weekends, early mornings, holidays, and evenings

Job Summary:
