Responsibilities
- We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and dog-loving Doggy Play Yard Assistant to supervise and engage with furry friends during group play sessions at our dog boarding and daycare facility
- Supervise group play sessions in outdoor play yards, ensuring the safety and well-being of all friends
- *Monitor dog behavior and intervene as needed to prevent or stop rough play, aggression, or stress
- *Engage dogs in appropriate physical activity, games, and enrichment exercises
- *Maintain constant awareness of all friends under you supervision
- *Clean up pet waste promptly and maintain a clean, safe play environment
- *Communicate observations or concerns about dog behavior, health, or injuries to management
- *Assist with feeding, watering, and transitioning dogs to and from the play yard
- *Follow all facility protocols for safety, sanitation, and animal handling
- *Provide excellent care and positive interaction to all friends, treating each with kindness and patience
- Exposure to loud barking, pet waste, cleaning chemicals, and a physically active setting
- *Work includes bending, lifting, walking, and standing for long periods
- *Shifts may include weekends, early mornings, holidays, and evenings
